In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting Archbishop Curley Friars soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the McDonogh Eagles.
The Friars (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Broadneck (Annapolis, MD). The Bruins come into the non-league match with a 5-4 record.
The Eagles now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Loyola Blakefield for a non-league match on Wednesday, October 9. McDonogh will meet a Dons team coming off a 1-1 non-league Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD). The Dons record now stands at 2-1.
