In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Marlboro Academy Dragons.
The Defenders (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mintz Christian Academy (Roseboro, NC). The Lions enter the challenge with a 11-0 record. In their last challenge, Mintz Christian Academy beat Temple Christian (Rockingham, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Dragons meet the Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders (Laurinburg, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 14. Marlboro Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
