The Pirates (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Garner (Garner, NC). The Trojans go into the Greater Neuse River 4A challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Garner nudged Cleveland (Clayton, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

With the loss, Cleveland moves to 3-10 on the year. The Rams travel to Clayton (Clayton, NC) to encounter the Comets in a Greater Neuse River 4A challenge on Monday, October 7. The Comets go into the challenge with a record of 11-1. Clayton won 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC)
