Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Adams Central Patriots (Hastings, NE) and the host Gering Bulldogs (Gering, NE), observed Adams Central's volleyball team hold off Gering by a count of 2-1.

The Patriots (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Alliance (Alliance, NE). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Alliance was tipped by Elkhorn (Elkhorn, NE), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
