In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Antioch Christian Academy Gators volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Cornerstone Christian Academy Cougars.

The Gators (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mintz Christian Academy (Roseboro, NC). The Lions come into the CCAA challenge with a 20-1 record. In their last challenge, Mintz Christian Academy beat Christ the Cornerstone Academy (Laurinburg, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders (Laurinburg, NC) in a CCAA challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Cornerstone Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Defenders come into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Mintz Christian Academy (Roseboro, NC).
