In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting United Christian Academy Crusaders volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Appalachian Christian School Trailblazers.

The Crusaders (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Regents (Charlottesville, VA). The Lions enter the non-league challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last challenge, Regents was beaten by Grace Christian (Staunton, VA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Trailblazers now own a 0-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Temple Christian for a non-league battle on Monday, October 7. Appalachian Christian School will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Faith Christian Academy (Hurt, VA). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-9.
