Fans at Friday's league contest between the Bells Panthers (Bells, TX) and the host Howe Bulldogs (Howe, TX), observed Bells's volleyball team top Howe by a count of 3-1.

The Panthers (25-4) will now prepare for their contest against S & S Consolidated (Sadler, TX). The Rams enter the 3A Region II District 11 contest with a 15-18 record. In their last contest, S & S Consolidated notched a victory over Leonard (Leonard, TX), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Bulldogs battle the Pottsboro Cardinals (Pottsboro, TX) in a 3A Region II District 11 contest, on Tuesday, October 8. Howe will attempt to move on its 7-18 season record. The Cardinals enter the contest with a 10-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Gunter (Gunter, TX).
