Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders (Laurinburg, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Marlboro Academy Dragons (Bennettsville, SC), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Christ the Cornerstone Academy improves its record to 11-1 on the season. The Defenders travel to Mintz Christian Academy (Roseboro, NC) to face the Lions in a CCAA test on Monday, October 7. The Lions go into the test with a record of 19-1. Mintz Christian Academy won 3-0 in their recent league test against Temple Christian (Rockingham, NC)

The Dragons now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christ the Cornerstone Academy for a non-league test on Monday, October 14.
