In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Eastern Hills Highlanders volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Diamond Hill-Jarvis Eagles.

The Highlanders (12-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Southwest (Fort Worth, TX). The Raiders enter the 4A Region II District 9 challenge with a 7-14 record. In their last challenge, Southwest beat Western Hills (Fort Worth, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Benbrook Bobcats (Benbrook, TX) in a 4A Region I District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Diamond Hill-Jarvis will attempt to better on its 0-14 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 15-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Dunbar (Fort Worth, TX).
