In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Franklin Pierce Cardinals volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Eatonville Cruisers.

The Cardinals (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Steilacoom (Steilacoom, WA). The Sentinels come into the 2A South Puget Sound challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Steilacoom was beaten by Fife (Fife, WA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cruisers meet the Orting Cardinals (Orting, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 7. Eatonville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Foss (Tacoma, WA).
