In Friday's league challenge, the host Mart Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Hubbard Jaguars.

The Panthers (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Axtell (Axtell, TX). The Longhorns enter the 2A Region II District 14 challenge with a 17-11 record. In their last challenge, Axtell beat Wortham (Wortham, TX), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Jaguars meet the Dawson Bulldogs (Dawson, TX) in a 2A Region II District 14 challenge, on Friday, October 11. Hubbard will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 10-13 record after their 3-2 league loss to Wortham (Wortham, TX).
