The Hughes Springs Mustangs (Hughes Springs, TX) volleyball knocked off the visiting Jefferson Bulldogs (Jefferson, TX), 3-0 in Friday's league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 19-14 record. They play next when they host New Diana for a 3A Region II District 13 bout on Tuesday, October 8. Hughes Springs will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Daingerfield (Daingerfield, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 21-10.

With the loss, Jefferson drops to 13-16 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX) to clash with the Red Devils in a 3A Region II District 13 bout on Tuesday, October 8.
