In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Lowell Red Raiders volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Lawrence Lancers.

The Red Raiders (5-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Tewksbury Memorial (Tewksbury, MA). The Redmen come into the Merrimack Valley II challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, Tewksbury Memorial beat Dracut (Dracut, MA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lancers meet the Billerica Memorial Indians (Billerica, MA) in a Merrimack Valley II challenge, on Monday, October 7. Lawrence will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 13-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Woburn Memorial (Woburn, MA).
