South Dakota High School Volleyball - Lower Brule tips Little Wound

In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Lower Brule Sioux volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Little Wound Mustangs.

The Sioux (8-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Todd County (Mission, SD). The Falcons enter the non-league challenge with a 7-11 record. In their last challenge, Todd County was tipped by Winner (Winner, SD), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Marty Indian Braves (Marty, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 5. Little Wound will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Braves enter the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Mahpiya Luta (Pine Ridge, SD).
