Texas High School Volleyball - Lone Star over The Colony

Fans at Friday's league contest between the Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) and the visiting The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX), observed Lone Star's volleyball team top The Colony by a tally of 3-0.

The Rangers (18-12) will now prepare for their contest against Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX). The Trojans enter the 5A Region II District 12 contest with a 10-16 record. In their last contest, Newman Smith beat Creekview (Carrollton, TX), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Cougars meet the Turner Lions (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 contest, on Tuesday, October 8. The Colony will attempt to upgrade on its 6-17 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 3-15 record after their 3-0 league loss to Wakeland (Frisco, TX).
