Texas High School Volleyball - Memorial overwhelmed by Stratford

Stratford Spartans (Houston, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Memorial Mustangs (Houston, TX), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Stratford improves its record to 30-2 on the season. The Spartans host Cypress Creek (Houston, TX) to face the Cougars in a 6A Region III District 17 test on Tuesday, October 8. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 16-20. Cypress Creek lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Jersey Village (Houston, TX)

The Mustangs now own a 24-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cypress Falls for a 6A Region III District 17 test on Tuesday, October 8. Memorial will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Cypress Ridge (Houston, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 8-28.
