The Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders tipped the host Pen Argyl Green Knights volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Friday's league game.
Next up, the Crusaders confront the Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 7. Notre Dame-Green Pond will attempt to advance on its 9-8 season record. The enter the game with a 14-3 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA).
The Green Knights (1-9) will now prepare for their game against Lehighton (Lehighton, PA). The Indians enter the Colonial game with a 11-8 record. In their last game, Lehighton held off Nativity BVM (Pottsville, PA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
