In Friday's league match, the Sterling City Eagles (Sterling City, TX) volleyball team were victorious over the host Reagan County Owls (Big Lake, TX), by a tally of 3-0.
The Eagles now have a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to Forsan for a 2A Region I District 4 outing on Tuesday, October 8. Sterling City will play a Buffaloes team coming off a 3-0 league win over Miles (Miles, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 19-11.
With the loss, Reagan County drops to 10-18 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Christoval (Christoval, TX) to play the Cougars in a 2A Region I District 4 outing on Tuesday, October 8. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 4-14.
