South Carolina High School Volleyball - Philip Simmons tips Fort Dorchester

October 4, 2025: North Charleston, SC 29420

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Philip Simmons Iron Horses (Charleston, SC) and the host Fort Dorchester Patriots (North Charleston, SC), observed Philip Simmons's volleyball team hold off Fort Dorchester by a count of 2-1.

The Iron Horses (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC). The Rebels enter the non-league battle with a 7-15 record. In their last battle, James F. Byrnes was edged by Riverside (Greer, SC), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Patriots now own a 17-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. James for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. Fort Dorchester will encounter a Sharks squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Conway (Conway, SC). The Sharks record now stands at 16-6.
