    The Wilmington Greyhounds football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Reynolds Raiders to 0 in the Greyhounds league win on Saturday.

    In their next game, the Greyhounds face the Mercer Mustangs (Mercer, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 challenge, on Friday, October 10. Wilmington will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 18-12 league win over Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA).

    The Raiders (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lucas (Lucas, OH). The Cubs come into the non-league test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Lucas was overwhelmed by Amanda-Clearcreek (Amanda, OH), 35-7, in a non-league test.
