In their next game, the Hawks face the Eastside Lions (Lancaster, CA) in a Golden challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Knight will attempt to move on its 14-8 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 5-11 record after their 26-6 league loss to Antelope Valley (Lancaster, CA).

With the defeat, Castaic drops to 9-9 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Saugus (Saugus, CA) to meet the Centurions in a Foothill test on Wednesday, October 8. The Centurions come into the test with a record of 8-11. Saugus lost 18-14 in their recent non-league test against Pacifica (Oxnard, CA)
