Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Albuquerque Academy moves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Chargers host Valley (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Vikings in a 4A District 6 test on Thursday, October 9. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 8-6.
Next up, the Hilltoppers confront the Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM) in a 4A District 2 outing, on Tuesday, October 7. Los Alamos will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Pintos go into the outing with a 9-4 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM).
