West Virginia High School Soccer - Spring Mills knocks off Petersburg

In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Spring Mills Cardinals soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Petersburg Vikings.
The Cardinals (6-10) will now prepare for their outing against Jefferson (Shenandoah Junction, WV). The Cougars go into the Eastern Panhandle outing with a 6-8 record. In their last outing, Jefferson got by Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV), 4-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Vikings confront the Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV) in a Potomac Valley test, on Monday, October 6. Petersburg will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 8-4 record after their 3-2 league loss to Berkeley Springs (Berkeley Springs, WV).
