New Mexico High School Soccer - Roswell knocks off Carlsbad

In Saturday's league outing, the host Roswell Coyotes soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 win over the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls.
The Coyotes (11-5) will now prepare for their outing against Clovis (Clovis, NM). The Wildcats enter the 5A District 4 outing with a 10-5 record. In their last outing, Clovis was overwhelmed by Hobbs (Hobbs, NM), 2-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Cavemen/Cavegirls confront the Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) in a 5A District 4 outing, on Tuesday, October 7. Carlsbad will attempt to move on its 2-12 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 10-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Clovis (Clovis, NM).
