In Saturday's league outing, the visiting Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Hightstown Rams.
The Bulldogs (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Princeton Day (Princeton, NJ). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Princeton Day got by Hamilton (Hamilton, NJ), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Rams now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Peddie for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. Hightstown will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 1-0 league win over Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA). The Falcons record now stands at 6-2.
