The Panthers (18-5) will now prepare for their contest against North Callaway (Kingdom City, MO). The Thunderbirds enter the non-league contest with a 18-9 record. In their last contest, North Callaway was routed by Hallsville (Hallsville, MO), 23-6, in a non-league contest.

The Tigers now have a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clark County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 7. Macon will face a Indians squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Centralia (Centralia, MO). The Indians record now stands at 5-7.
