In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Northwestern Area Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Aberdeen Christian Knights.
The Wildcats (21-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Roncalli (Aberdeen, SD). The Cavaliers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Roncalli lost by Clark/Willow Lake (Clark, SD), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Knights play the Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD) in a B Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Aberdeen Christian will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 21-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Groton (Groton, SD).
