Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Morenci Bulldogs (Morenci, MI) and the visiting Addison Panthers (Addison, MI), observed Morenci's volleyball team hold off Addison by a count of 2-1.

The Bulldogs (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Sand Creek (Sand Creek, MI). The Aggies go into the Tri-County battle with a 0-11 record. In their last battle, Sand Creek was edged by Lenawee Christian (Adrian, MI), 2-0, in a league battle.

The Panthers now have a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Napoleon for a Cascades test on Tuesday, October 7. Addison will face a Pirates squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Pewamo-Westphalia (Pewamo, MI). The Pirates record now stands at 19-7.
