In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Brandywine Bobcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Athens Indians.
The Bobcats (9-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Bronson (Bronson, MI). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 14-9 record. In their last test, Bronson achieved victory over Springport (Springport, MI), 3-0, in a league test.
The Indians now own a 6-21 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calhoun Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, October 11.
