With the win, Miles improves its record to 13-12 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Christoval (Christoval, TX) to meet the Cougars in a 2A Region I District 4 challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 14-14. Christoval won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Reagan County (Big Lake, TX)

Next, the Bearcats meet the Sterling City Eagles (Sterling City, TX) in a 2A Region I District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Ballinger will attempt to upgrade on its 16-13 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 16-13 record after their 3-2 league loss to Forsan (Forsan, TX).
