Georgia High School Volleyball - Banks County overwhelmed by Oglethorpe County

Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots (27-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA). The Storm come into the non-league challenge with a 33-8 record. In their last test, Providence Christian Academy gained a win over Commerce (Commerce, GA), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Leopards now sport a 21-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Athens Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. Banks County will face a Spartans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy (Winder, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 22-11.
