Ogilvie Lions (Ogilvie, MN) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Barnum Bombers (Barnum, MN), 2-1 in a non-league test.

The Lions (11-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Aitkin (Aitkin, MN). The Gobblers enter the Great River challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Aitkin got by Hinckley-Finlayson (Hinckley, MN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bombers meet the Rush City Tigers (Rush City, MN) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 4. Barnum will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 16-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Pine City (Pine City, MN).
