Bay City Western Warriors (Auburn, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Gladwin Flying G's (Gladwin, MI), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Bay City Western improves its record to 17-15 on the season. The Warriors host Heritage (Saginaw, MI) to face the Hawks in a Saginaw Valley test on Tuesday, October 7. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 8-17. Heritage lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Midland (Midland, MI)

The Flying G's now own a 5-15 record. They play next when they host Clare for a Jack Pine challenge on Wednesday, October 8. Gladwin will play a Pioneers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Bullock Creek (Midland, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 7-16.
