The Midwest Central Raiders edged the visiting Beardstown Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Raiders now have a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Hartsburg-Emden for a Tomahawk outing on Monday, October 6. Midwest Central will play a Stags team coming off a 2-0 league win over Mt. Pulaski (Mt. Pulaski, IL). The Stags record now stands at 17-3.
With the loss, Beardstown drops to 2-18 on the campaign. The Tigers host Camp Point Central (Camp Point, IL) to play the Panthers in a West Central - North outing on Tuesday, October 7. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 2-13. Camp Point Central lost 2-0 in their recent league outing against Liberty (Liberty, IL)
