Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Chaparral Roadrunners (Anthony, KS) and the host Belle Plaine Dragons (Belle Plaine, KS), observed Chaparral's volleyball team top Belle Plaine by a count of 2-0.

The Roadrunners (17-13) will now prepare for their contest against Central Christian Academy (Wichita, KS). The Lions go into the non-league battle with a 18-7 record. In their last battle, Central Christian Academy achieved victory over Remington (Whitewater, KS), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Dragons now own a 5-21 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. Belle Plaine will meet a Lions team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Remington (Whitewater, KS). The Lions record now stands at 18-7.
