Alabama High School Volleyball - Brewer edged by Hartselle

Hartselle Tigers (Hartselle, AL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball team hold off the host Brewer Patriots (Somerville, AL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers (36-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Chelsea (Chelsea, AL). The Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 14-14 record. In their last challenge, Chelsea got by Briarwood Christian (Birmingham, AL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots meet the Decatur Red Raiders (Decatur, AL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 4. Brewer will attempt to improve on its 24-14 season record. The Red Raiders go into the test with a 14-20 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Muscle Shoals (Muscle Shoals, AL).
