In Saturday's league test, the visiting Canisteo-Greenwood Chargers volleyball squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Campbell-Savona Panthers.

With the win, Canisteo-Greenwood advances its record to 5-6 on the season. The Chargers host Avoca Central (Avoca, NY) to face the Tigers in a Section 5 Steuben County test on Friday, October 17. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 7-0.

The Panthers now sport a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Odessa-Montour for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 6. Campbell-Savona will play a Grizzlies team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Candor (Candor, NY). The Grizzlies record now stands at 0-2.
