Carolina Forest Panthers (Myrtle Beach, SC) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball team overcome the host Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles (Mullins, SC), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers (17-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Seahawks come into the AAAA Region 6 challenge with a 10-2 record.
Next, the Golden Eagles meet the Beaufort Eagles (Beaufort, SC) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 4. Pee Dee Academy will attempt to advance on its 17-4 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 11-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Colleton County (Walterboro, SC).
