The Jefferson Christian Academy Cardinals volleyball team (Ripplemead, VA), was knocked off 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Cornerstone Christian Academy Lions (Abingdon, VA)

The Lions (15-11) will now prepare for their contest against Rye Cove (Clinchport, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Rye Cove beat Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Cardinals meet the Mount Hope Christian Academy Warriors (Mount Hope, WV) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 6. Jefferson Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 9-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Summers County (Hinton, WV).
