In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Ogemaw Heights Falcons volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Dow Chargers.

The Falcons (15-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Garber (Essexville, MI). The Dukes come into the non-league challenge with a 23-8 record. In their last challenge, Garber edged Alma (Alma, MI), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Chargers play the Tawas Area Braves (Tawas City, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 4. Dow will attempt to upgrade on its 14-9 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 3-1 league loss to Oscoda (Oscoda, MI).
