Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Edinburg Wildcats (Edinburg, IL) and the host Mulberry Grove Aces (Mulberry Grove, IL), observed Edinburg's volleyball team top Mulberry Grove by a count of 2-0.

The Wildcats (14-10) will now prepare for their contest against South County (Franklin, IL). The Vipers enter the MSM contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, South County was knocked off by Pawnee (Pawnee, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.

The Aces now own a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brownstown/St. Elmo for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 9. Mulberry Grove will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Altamont (Altamont, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 13-9.
