Mt. Whitney Pioneers (Visalia, CA) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the host Farmersville Aztecs (Farmersville, CA), 2-0 in a non-league outing.

The Pioneers now have a 8-15 record. They play next when they host Redwood for a East Yosemite outing on Monday, October 6. Mt. Whitney will confront a Rangers squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Porterville (Porterville, CA). The Rangers record now stands at 15-13.

The Aztecs (10-14) will now prepare for their game against Wonderful College Prep Academy (Delano, CA). The Wolves go into the East Sequoia- Redwood game with a 19-8 record. In their last game, Wonderful College Prep Academy gained a win over Orange Cove (Orange Cove, CA), 3-0, in a league outing.
