The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Fleming Island Golden Eagles (Orange Park, FL) and the visiting Fletcher Senators (Neptune Beach, FL), saw Fleming Island's volleyball team top Fletcher by a count of 2-0.

The Golden Eagles (16-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Howell (Winter Park, FL). The Silverhawks enter the non-league contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Lake Howell notched a victory over Lyman (Longwood, FL), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Senators battle the Nease Panthers (Ponte Vedra, FL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 4. Fletcher will attempt to move on its 19-2 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 2-11 record after their 3-2 league loss to Bartram Trail (St. Johns, FL).
