New York High School Volleyball - Fort Edward tips Lake George

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Fort Edward Flying Forts (Fort Edward, NY) and the host Lake George Lakers (Lake George, NY), observed Fort Edward's volleyball team hold off Lake George by a tally of 1-0.

The Flying Forts (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Argyle (Argyle, NY). The Scots go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Argyle tipped Hadley Luzerne (Lake Luzerne, NY), 3-1, in a league test.

The Lakers now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Queensbury for a non-league test on Monday, October 6. Lake George will face a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Fort Edward (Fort Edward, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 12-2.
