Illinois High School Volleyball - Morning Star Academy over Galesburg Christian

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Morning Star Academy Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Galesburg Christian Lions.

The Mustangs (22-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Unity Christian (Fulton, IL). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 17-7 record. In their last challenge, Unity Christian beat East Moline Christian (East Moline, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions face the Quad Cities Christian Eagles (Moline, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 4. Galesburg Christian will attempt to advance on its 10-11 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 16-11 record after their 3-0 league win over Faith Christian (Dixon, IL).
