Fans at Saturday's league contest between the Kingswood Knights (Wolfeboro, NH) and the host Gilford Golden Eagles (Gilford, NH), observed Kingswood's volleyball team top Gilford by a count of 3-1.
The Knights (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Pelham (Pelham, NH). The Pythons enter the Division II contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Pelham was defeated by Milford (Milford, NH), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Golden Eagles now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Winnisquam for a Division II test on Wednesday, October 8. Gilford will face a Bears squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Fall Mountain (Langdon, NH). The Bears record now stands at 4-6.
