The Hale County Wildcats volleyball squad (Moundville, AL), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Paul W. Bryant Stampede (Cottondale, AL)

The Stampede (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Montevallo (Montevallo, AL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 14-11 record. In their last contest, Montevallo was tipped by Jemison (Jemison, AL), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Mae Jemison Jaguars (Huntsville, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 4. Hale County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 0-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Grissom (Huntsville, AL).
