In Saturday's league challenge, the visiting Los Fresnos Falcons volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the Harlingen Cardinals.

With the win, Los Fresnos improves its record to 17-8 on the season. The Falcons host Hanna (Brownsville, TX) to face the Golden Eagles in a 6A Region IV District 32 test on Tuesday, October 7. The Golden Eagles go into the test with a record of 5-11. Hanna lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Harlingen (Harlingen, TX)

The Cardinals now own a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Benito for a 6A Region IV District 32 challenge on Tuesday, October 7. Harlingen will meet a Greyhounds team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Veterans Memorial (Brownsville, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 13-16.
