In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Highmore/Harrold Pirates.

The Warbirds (15-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hitchcock-Tulare (Tulare, SD). The Patriots enter the non-league challenge with a 17-3 record. In their last challenge, Hitchcock-Tulare beat Sunshine Bible Academy (Miller, SD), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates meet the Sully Buttes Chargers (Onida, SD) in a B Region 6 outing, on Tuesday, October 7. Highmore/Harrold will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Chargers come into the outing with a 6-14 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Philip (Philip, SD).
