The Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints topped the host Yellow Medicine East Sting volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's league game.

Next up, the Fighting Saints face the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars (Belgrade, MN) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 6. Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg will attempt to advance on its 6-12 season record. The Jaguars go into the game with a 12-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN).

The Sting (5-13) will now prepare for their game against Springfield (Springfield, MN). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 3-13 record. In their last game, Springfield gained a win over Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN), 3-1, in a league game.
